Beloeil, Quebec - August 30th 2016 - Demers Ambulances' Regional Manager, Steve Rowland, has been appointed to the NFPA-450 committee.
We are proud to announce that our very own regional manager, Steve Rowland, has been appointed to NFPA-450 (National Fire Protection Association) committee as a principal member. This committee is responsible for two NFPA Guides: NFPA-450, which serves as a template for the design, implementation, and evaluation of EMS systems and also provides guidelines, resources, and recommendations to assist those interested or involved in comprehensive EMS systems development and/or design, as well as NFPA-451, which is a guide under development for Fire Based Community Healthcare Providers.
Steve will also continue to serve on the NFPA-1917 Ambulance Standard Committee as a principal member representing the Fire Apparatus Manufacturers Association (FAMA). Being part of these committees allows Demers to stay on top of both the fire and EMS industries.
