Demers was excited to attend OAPC (Ontario Association of Paramedic Chiefs) conference this year, showcasing our latest innovations in ambulance design and technology. As a leader in the industry, we were happy to connect with paramedic professionals, sharing insights, and presenting our line of vehicles, including the highly anticipated eFX. Our team was eager to demonstrate how our ambulances continue to enhance patient care and operational efficiency for paramedic services across Ontario.
Tuesday evening started off with a bang, we enjoyed having a cocktail and showcasing our ambulances. This year, we brought along our eFX and a Type II TXB.
Demers eFX Ambulance: Excitement for Ontario
Naturally, the highlight of the event was our eFX, marking its first appearance in Ontario. The attendees couldn’t help but explore the patient compartment and its ergonomic features, testing the FX Action Seats and the Swivelling Drawer Cabinets. They then hopped into the chassis and tested the steering wheel controls.
The Demers TXB: Making an Appearance
The Demers TXB is already on the roads in Quebec, known for its maneuverability, lower fuel consumption, and all-wheel drive, it was the newcomer on the block in Ontario and turned quite a few heads. Many attendees stopped by to ask questions about the vehicle. They were impressed that it’s all-wheel drive, so it’s a great vehicle for harsh winter conditions. We would like to give a very special thank you to Claude Lachance from Cambi for attending the conference with us and bringing his TXB along all the way from Beauceville, Quebec.
