September 12th, 2024 – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan: Demers and Crestline are pleased to announce the opening of a new facility on Apex Street in Saskatoon, solely dedicated to ambulance remounts and bus upfitting.
This expansion marks a significant milestone in our company’s growth, enabling us to better serve our customers and optimize operational efficiency. The Apex Centre allows us to handle the rising demand for remounts located at the Wheeler facility and be able to provide better delivery timelines.

The new facility is now supported by a specialized team exclusively focused on remounts and bus upfitting. What began as a two-person operation has grown to a team of fifteen employees to meet increasing demand. This expansion underscores our commitment to delivering efficient, high-quality remount services and buses. In addition, we have introduced new, tailored processes and expanded the scope of our supply chain and engineering functions. A key addition is the master scheduler role, designed to manage the remount and bus schedule and streamline operations, moving beyond traditional activity constraints.

By streamlining engineering and supply chain processes, we are focused on hitting our target lead times. Our goal is to reduce the remount processing time to just six weeks.
We extend our deepest thanks to the dedicated staff at Wheeler Street who have been instrumental in the success of remounts and bus operations. With the opening of this new facility, the Wheeler Street plant will now focus exclusively on new ambulance production, further optimizing our operations.
